Pine Needles Resort
1005 Midland Rd
Southern Pines, NC 28387-3121, United States

910.692.7111
This oft-honored course underwent a restoration of Donald Ross's original design in 2004 by architect John Fought. Since then, Golf Digest ranked Pine Needles 4.5 stars, while Golfweek ranked it among America's best top-100 "classic" courses and fourth-best in North Carolina.

The peak season (March-June) rates are $200 on weekdays, $235 on weekends and holidays. The low-season is November to March, when the rates are $85 on weekdays and $95 on weekends.

Also here is a four-hole "practice loop" and a teaching and practice center.

Classic Donald Ross. Host of USGA Women's Event soon.

Great course, Fair from tees. Tough greens equalize the open course/

Course was in good shape. Greens were slower than expected but due to the extremely hot weather we've had that was not unexpected as the course is trying to make sure they keep their greens.

I loved this course. Pretty open fairways, but very protected greens and they seem to be getting pretty quick as well. Good round for all level of players though.
