solid muni golf. decent length, good conditions. there's some water, but not really in play. thoughtful but fair bunkering. good mix of open and tight holes.

Lakewood is a chaallenging course for the aveerage golfer with few water hazards and not so challenging bunkers. While I enjoy the course and would like to play it more often getting a tee time is difficult. More time should be dedicated to care and maintenance of the greens. Some golfer do not repair ball marks or rake bunkers which detract from this good course.

Course maintenance leaves a little to be desired. Better care of the greens would be nice.
