Noisy, considering that it is in the flight path of planes taking off or landing at the Dallas Fort Worth International airport. Greens are a sham. Pace of play was deplorable.

Updated Review (07-01-13) Made the mistake of playing on a Saturday morning. Brutal slow conditions. Like 5 and 1/2 hour round slow. I really wonder at why the local golfers fill this course as it it doesn't provide much in the way of what I would call a good round of golf. With the slow pace of play, airplane noise, tight fairways, and unappealing aesthetics it just doesn't measure up to even the rankest muni course that you could find. Another interesting observation was that the tee placements were placed in locations that forced fades as the tees would be hard up to the right side of the tee next to the tree line on the majority of holes. Obviously, the person placing the tee's is either a slicer looking for an advantage or just had no clue as to how to set up a course for play. I've lowered my rating from 2 to 1 stars as a result of the above conditions.

Original Review (12-15-11) Tight. Tight. Tight. Greens in decent shape but the tee boxes are small and have been abused by the summer heat of '11. Back nine much more playable and enjoyable than the front. Airport plane traffic can be extremely loud. You have to either shout or wait for the plane to clear the area before talking. Staff friendly.

Greens were not in very good shape on the West. Tee boxes were basically sand. Very poor condition. Cart girl was very nice.

Real slow play, greens thin in places, just not in real good shape.

The course was in good shape but the pace of play has to improve. The marshall's have to do a better job controlling the pace of play and keep slow players moving.
