Riverwalk Golf Club
1150 Fashion Valley Rd
San Diego, CA 92108-1102, United States

619.296.4653
This course began life as Stardust Country Club and hosted the PGA Tour during the 1950s and 1960s. What was once flat terrain now features a Ted Robinson redesign (ca. 1998) with rolling fairways, waterfalls and well-bunkered bentgrass greens. Water is in play on 13 of the 27 holes, while the San Diego River also flows through the layout.

American Golf manages this facility. The standard non-resident rates are $89 Mondays through Thursdays, and $99 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays. Sliding twilight discounts are available, as are special rates for seniors, junior, and residents of San Diego County.

Course is not in the best of shape. Many GUR areas on fairways. Greens were pretty good. We teed off after 2p.m. and price (Golf Now)was great and pace of play was pretty good.

Ridiculously packed, took 3 hours 15 minutes to play first nine. Play was crazy slow and the Marshalls were not policing it. Not sure I will be back.

Best greens in the county for my money. They're always fast and in decent shape. Played there 2/27/13 - teed off at 6am dawn patrol and they were still fast, fast, fast. Fun course too. Not sure about the value for 'regular' players, as I get a hospitality industry rate there.

Typical American Golf managed course. Jam the people on but, don't reinvest to keep the course in top shape. It was o.k however as I had a discount.

For living in san diego over 20 yrs. And playing river walk many times. I have to say that it is one of the most ub freindly course to residents. Also the course was in terrible shape I am so glad I had a coupon and di not pay full price. From the condition to pace of play very sad.

Beatiful course considering it's lined by freeways and major roads. This simple layout is much more challenging than you could ever think. Prices can be a bit steep but if you book online, saves a few valuable $$. The cart girls could be a bit more timely and out of the way.
