Meadowbrook Golf Course
1815 Jenson Rd
Fort Worth, TX 76112-3860, United States

817 457 4616
Located in the east-central metropolitan area of Fort Worth, the Meadowbrooks Golf Course is an 18 hole regulation facility and considered one of the top 25 municipal golf courses in Texas. The par 71 course plays to a length of 6,363 yards from the Championship (Blue) tees and 5,966 yards from the Regular (White) tees and play from the Forward (Red) tees is right at 5,000 yards.

Meadowbrook has the most rolling terrain of the City's five golf courses, and based on the density of play for 18 holes, it rates as the busiest of the City's facilities. The greens and tees were re-grassed in summer of 2005, ongoing renovations are occurring to the clubhouse to create a covered pavilion. Winter 06-07 will see renovation of all bunkers and construction of new on-course restrooms.

The clubhouse at Meadowbrook is an attractive red brick building that includes a Pro Shop and Snack Shop amenities with seating for approximately 100 people.

Played here for decades. Maintenance is the worst I have seen in quite a while. Bunkers not maintained at all. Fairways burned out. Bare spots on greens. Tee boxes too hard to put a tee in. Disappointing since this was at one time the best kept course among Ft. Worth Munis. Maybe all the money has gone into Rockwood and Pecan Valley which are in much better shape, particularly Rockwood since the renovation.

Nice muni course in Fort Worth, Texas. Lots of rolling hills which is a nice change of pace for the DFW area. No driving range. Rough neighborhood but the course is seperated from run down apartments by fencing. Pace of play is good and the value of $33 for 18 is great.
