A "must play once" golf course. It's a beautiful course. Expect to play a 4 1/2 hour round even if you play in the morning. The course is in great shape right now.

Good course. As always, greens are awesome and roll true. Bunkers are getting better. Fairways are nice, but severely over watered (I suppose a must in the Texas drought). If you hit your drive in the fairway, you don't expect to be playing from wet conditions.

Well maintained course, have played it twice. The greens were rolling not too fast and not too slow. Challenging, but entertaining.

Overall, decent shape. The one guarantee you can expect at Riverside is really good greens. Firm, Fast, and Smooth. Other than that, this course is usually in pretty good shape. Played today for 25 dollars, Cant beat that.

Overall a good value course. That being said, be careful about reserving early tee-times. I arrived for an early tee-time and they hadn't even opened up the golf shop until 15 min. AFTER my tee-time. The layout is mostly fun, plays rather short, and there are some literally 45-degree blind doglegs where local knowledge is important. Some greens are impossibly unfair (try putting to a hole location on a steep slope where even though the ball makes it hole high, it stops and then rolls back down past you off the green). Overall, a good value, but I'm not sure it has a lot of replay value.
