The course is located in pristine natural bushland in the Adelaide Hills, and features tall "Ghost Gum" trees and native orchids. Cox's Creek and other lakes meander through this course, which attracts a wide variety of bird life. The course is also 'home' to at least one koala, while a white kangaroo can often be seen near the 7th fairway.
