This is the original of the two Rookery courses, an 18-hole course designed by course superintendent Chris Adkins, working with 2004 Senior British Open champion Pete Oakley. (In 2012, the club purchased Shawnee Country Club and renamed it Rookery North.) The course features water on all but a few holes.
As with the North Course, the standard rate with cart is $70, although shoulder-season and sliding twilight discounts are offered.

my family and I liked it there, although there were a couple of moments because of which the game was a bit spoiled. but I think when we arrive there next time, everything will be fine. Course should be closed conditions are so bad. Greens are fairways have been lost, they need to close and re seed now to grow in for next year.
