Cowan Creek GC opened in a planned residential community in November of 2008 with a design by Gary Stevenson. Five sets of tees stretch the course from 5,034 to 7,050 yards of Hill Country terrain, with cactus, mesquite trees, and various wildlife. The signature hole here may be the risk-reward 14th. Cowan Creek also has a 9000 sq-ft putting green, a large range, and chipping, pitching and sand practice areas.

Very nice layout with several tees to challenge all golfers. Greens were very quick and rolled true. Will definitely be back to play this track
