West Wilts Golf Club was established in 1891, making it one of the oldest clubs in Wiltshire. The course was designed by five-time Open champion and prolific architect J.H. Taylor over somewhat hilly terrain, with a chalk base that provides good drainage. Located high on the western edge of Salisbury Plain, the course provides abundant views over the surrounding countryside, but also allows the wind to be a strong challenge.
Visitors and societies are welcome, although advance booking is recommended. The standard visitor walking rates are £30/round or £40/day; junior, county cardholder, and guest-of-member rates are available, as are memberships.

Ok course, many of the holes are very similar and feel all a bit too close together.
Having said that the scenery is fantastic, but dont go there if it might be wet or windy
