The course at the private Ford Plantation luxury residential community was originally designed by Pete Dye and plays around 250 acres of freshwater lakes and over former rice fields. While Dye calls it "arguably my finest southern design," the club announced in October of 2013 that Dye and architect Tim Liddy will oversee a restoration / update of the design.
