This short par-31 9-hole course was founded in 1924, but after the closure of a nearby railway line in 1967, the club was actually abandoned for two decades. Around the late 1980s, the locals made a determined effort to reopen the club, despite a lack of solid funding. That effort was a success, this course was 'reborn' in 1994.
The visitor rates are £10 for nine holes, £15 for eighteen. Junior rates and playing as the guest of a member are lower. Hole measurements are in yards.
