The noted Scottish professional and architect James Braid did the original design of the course, but World War II interrupted construction. After the war, John Morrison finalized the design and oversaw construction.

Society days at Kedleston Park are Monday and Friday, although the club may be able to accommodate small groups on other days -- contact the club in advance. Visitors may need to show a handicap certificate.
