Our first time playing the course, greens and fairways were excellent. Very interesting holes some target golf, but very fair landing areas. We will play this course again. Staff were very helpful.

All around nice course. Can compare with any private I have played in the past. The topography lends itself the the beauty. Greens run smooth and fast. Very true. A tad more expensive than the average semi private / public, but the professional and courteous staff gives you a reason to say it's well worth it.

I have played Blackstone 4 or 5 times over the last few years and found it to be a very good layout that runs into conditioning problems for whatever reason. One year the fairways were poor and another the greens were poor. There was one year when everything came together and it raised the value considerably. At the green fees charged there are a lot better places to go. I here this year is another off year. The amenities are great off the course as they work hard at being a premium service course.

One of the nicest layout in the area. The staff is great and the food is outstanding. Doing a great job of bring this course back to the shape it was in several years ago. Amust play if your in the area. Woodypom

Played the course on Aug 20th at 'reduced rate' of $83 due to condition of fairways. First I will say that the staff was friendly and somewhat apologetic for the condition of the fairways. They 'lost' many of them due to "water rationing". The greens and approx the 50 yds from the green were in real good condition since that is where they are using the water. Hopefully the fairways recover because it is a nice layout.
