Balboa Park is a 27-hole golf facility, one of two courses owned by the City of San Diego (Torrey Pines is a bit more famous). The course opened in 1920 but underwent a major renovation in 1996.
The non-resident walking rates are $40 on weekdays, $50 on weekends (carts are $15/person). Various discounts are offered for local and county residents.

Course has received extensive modernization. A tough track... best muni I've ever played... except Torrey South. This course is tougher than Torrey North.
