Chalk Mountain Golf Course
10000 El Bordo Ave
Atascadero, CA 93422-5502, United States

805-466-8848
Located in Atascadero, Chalk Mountain Golf Course is one of the areas premier golf destinations. First opened in 1980, the golf course is situated amongst ancient and mature oak trees, sweeping hills, and a meandering creek. Chalk Mountain is a fun and challenging course for all levels of golfers.

This well-established and beautifully maintained course boasts the most comfortable and easy-going atmosphere of the three county courses. The hilly course has many oak trees lining its narrow fairways. The average-sized greens are severely undulating and a few of them feature green-side bunkers. There is a creek that comes into play on six holes.

Fun course, good value and kept in pretty good shape for a muni course. Fairways could be better. Lots of hills so expect some awkward lies. Some interesting decisions off the tee on several holes. If you enjoy target golf you will like Chalk Mountain. If you don't like hills then stay home...
